Eleanor Whitney is a writer, musician, and community manager based in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently the Community Marketing Manager at Dev Bootcamp New York, an immersive learn-to-code bootcamp. Prior to Dev Bootcamp she worked at Shapeways, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Brooklyn Museum. She is committed to making tech a more diverse and inclusive place to work and in supporting those from underrepresented groups find satisfying careers in the tech space. In 2013 Microcosm Publishing released her first book, Grow, a field guide for creatives to build satisfying companies and careers, and she is currently working on her second book, a feminist memoir.
