Timirah James is the Core Development Evangelist for Verizon Digital Media Services based out of Los Angeles, CA. She is best known for being a leader in the Los Angeles and “Silicon Beach” tech community, her active roles in the hackathon realm, as well as mentoring young girls through her program for HS girls exploring the world of tech: TechniGal LA. After working a few years as an full-time engineer, her passion for building, educating, and expanding the tech community led her into the evangelism scene.
